Diamond MaintenanceAs we are aware of the scheduled rain, it is essential to be prepared for any potential downpours. In the event of rain, we kindly request all teams to assist in protecting the mound and home plate areas by promptly placing the provided tarps, which will be located near the diamonds, as instructed by the umpire. This proactive measure will help us maintain the quality of the playing surfaces and minimize any delays caused by inclement weather. Thank you for your cooperation in ensuring a smooth and enjoyable event for all participants.
Toilets, Showers and Changing RoomsThe facilities will be open from 7:30am on Saturday and 6:30am on Sunday. If you require usage, kindly reach out to a member of the event team for the code, and they will be happy to assist you. We want to ensure that all participants have access to necessary amenities throughout their stay, so please don’t hesitate to inquire if you have any specific needs outside the regular operating hours including Sunday morning’s earlier games.

Warm Up Areas. To ensure a smooth and safe playing environment, we kindly request all players to limit their warm-up activities to the designated areas near the diamonds. These designated warm-up zones have been carefully arranged to avoid any interference with ongoing games. It is essential to respect the space of other participants and ensure that their games are not impeded in any way. By adhering to this guideline, we can maintain the integrity of the tournament and provide a fair and enjoyable experience for everyone involved.
Batting Cage and Bullpens:To ensure fair and efficient usage of the batting cages and bullpens, we will prioritise access for teams that are currently playing or scheduled to play in the upcoming slotted games. This approach aims to accommodate the immediate needs of teams actively participating in the tournament and preparing for their matches. We kindly ask for everyone’s cooperation in adhering to this policy, as it will help us maintain a smooth and well-organised flow throughout the event.
GB U12sOn Saturday morning, during the free slot for diamond five, we have scheduled a practice session for the GB U12s on that field. This dedicated time will allow the team to focus on improving their skills and coordination.
Emergency Details The first aid contact is Rachael Watkeys: +44 7721 717975
The nearest Hospital to the complex is: Wexham Park Hospital, Wexham, Slough SL2 4HL
The Emergency Department at Wexham Park Hospital is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. All emergency services are provided, from major trauma care to the treatment of injuries and serious illness. The Wexham Park Hospital Emergency Department has a resuscitation unit and a designated paediatric unit. There is also a clinical decision unit for patients needing a few hours of acute treatment but who do not need to be admitted to hospital. Wexham Park Hospital is accessible by the Thames Valley and Chiltern Air Ambulance service.
The Farnham Park Baseball & Softball Complex has a defibrillator. It is a public-access defibrillator housed in a green cabinet on the exterior of the Home Plate Bar & Kitchen. If you come across someone who has had a cardiac arrest, you should:
Call 999 to report it. They will despatch an ambulance.
Start CPR to keep blood flowing around the body.
If you are on your own, DO NOT interrupt CPR. Instead, send someone else to retrieve the defibrillator from the Home Plate Bar & Kitchen. The 999 operators will give you the code to open the cabinet.
Once the defibrillator is open and in position, all you have to do is follow the spoken instructions. The defibrillator detects the heart’s rhythm, and it won’t deliver a shock unless one is needed.
You should resume CPR as soon as instructed to by the defibrillator.

Sunday 23rd July, 10:10am – Kent Mariners vs Guildford Baseball Club
Sunday 23rd July, Game 4 – To be determined …
The tournament will consist of a round robin group stage before the competition proceeds to knockout for the chance to be crowned the first National British Baseball Cup Champion.
Teams will play a fast-paced form of tournament baseball with limited breaks, with no more than a 90-minute off time between games.
According to BBF President Tom Thornhill, "a national tournament format of baseball has been absent from the British Baseball Federation’s summer calendar for some time. I’ve personally enjoyed playing tournaments in university baseball, the Diamond series and similar tournaments at Farnham Park over the last two years.
“Hosting a festival-style baseball tournament over the course of two days with all four diamonds in use will be a genuine opportunity for the community to unite in celebration of our sport over a terrific baseball weekend.”
More details will be made available as we receive them.
