SPRING TRAINING – TRAINING SESSION / SCRIMMAGE GAME

Unfortunately our friendly against the South Coast Pirates has had to be cancelled (however we are hoping it can be rescheduled). We will now instead be running a scrimmage game and training session at Bull Pen Park instead.

Due to field availability issues we shan’t have full access to the diamond until mid-afternoon, however we should still have plenty of time for everyone to get some quality time to acclimatise themselves to once again playing outdoors!

We’d like as big a turnout as possible as we hope to run a teaching inter-team / scrimmage game to help players get ready for our friendly against the Essex Redbacks next Sunday, however this is obviously dependent on numbers.

The session is free to attend and is a great opportunity for those new players that have come through our Winter Training programme to get a proper feel for the game actually out on the diamond, in the fresh air!

With the weather such as it is the ground is likely to be wet and a but muddy so please be prepared.
